When the Church Does Not Invest in Youth. . .

. . .or fails youth in other ways, the church is rightly criticized.

When the Church seeks to address directly youth of the world gathered in a single place and allow them to celebrate in various ways, it is criticized for spending too much money. Viewing only the first several minutes of the popes arrival at Madrid's Puerta de Alcalá demonstrates the size of the crowds of at this huge undertaking, which puts its cost in perspective.
